Mass Faxing With Hylafax I set up a Hylafax server at work with four external modems, we are currently sending over 600 faxes per day (running 9am - 6pm). The system consists of an old Pentium 166 fitted with an additional two serial ports which is running Redhat 6 and hylafax-4.1beta3-1. The modems are all identical el cheapo rockwell external units from Redstore. I think I struck lucky with these as they have worked fine in our send only environment, some people have difficulty with a lot of these cheap modems. Please note that we are not "spamming" people by fax, all the numbers in our database are customers who have asked to receive the information we send. More info to come soon.
